My training program


First, I built my base with Cool Running's Couch to 5k program. This blog begins around week 5.

Once I had acclimated myself to running 3 miles 3 times a week, I transitioned into this half-marathon training program from running coach Jeff  Gallloway. Probably most famous for his "run/walk" method, Galloway has a reputation for helping new and injury prone runners reach long-distance goals.
